Caesura

A pause or break in a line of poetry/​verse usually in the middle. This is the thought that describes this sculpture. Divided into three sections, reading from left to right. The vertical reeds introduce the viewer to the sculpture. The middle section or screen create the pause that give the viewer a sense of fluttering sails in a soft breeze waiting for the next gust of wind to carry it forward. The large bowl serves as the safe resting place, inviting the viewer closer, to literally get inside and consider the world from the inside looking out
