Wildfire Teen Improv Festival

Wildfire is Rapid Fire Theatre’s annual teen improv festival, made up of three different events: The Nosebowl High School Theatresports Tournament, The Alberta Regionals of the Canadian Improv Games, and The Wildfire Junior. Participant teams come from schools all across the province of Alberta.

Nosebowl Theatresports Tournament: The Nosebowl features high school students from across Alberta competing for the love of our judges as they try their hand at our flagship show – Theatresports!

Wildfire Junior: Inspired by both the Canadian Improv Games and the Nosebowl Theatresports Tournament, the Wildfire Jr. introduces junior high students to the world of improv! Junior high teams join together in a friendly competition of spontaneity.

Canadian Improv Games: Rapid Fire Theatre hosts the Alberta Regionals of the Canadian Improv Games as part of our annual Wildfire Festival. The Canadian Improv Games (C.I.G. for short) is a nation-wide high school improv event! The winners of the Alberta regionals represent Alberta at the C.I.G. finals in Ottawa.
