Thousand Faces Festival

Join the Thousand Faces Festival from July 12^th to 14^th for a weekend of multidisciplinary performances that remind us how wonderfully mythic our very own Edmonton can be!

The 2024 Thousand Faces Festival will feature vibrant, diverse, mythic-inspired performances from local artists and out-of-province guests, spanning the likes of dance, music, theatre, and more! No matter their age, guests can grab a bite to eat and enjoy the many wonderful sights to see as they explore the Festival site, located in and around the Alberta Avenue Community Centre.

This year’s programming includes:

Myth Country Fair (Friday through Sunday): Venture about the vast Festival grounds and enjoy its many offerings! Sit down with a drink or a bite to eat from visiting food trucks in the community gardens, browse the artisanal wares of local vendors, watch the various performances scattered throughout the venue, and more.

Mythic Treasures Cabaret & Feast (Friday and Saturday Evening): Join us in the community centre for dinner and a show, which you can expect to be far more mythic than a regular night out at the movies! Sample tasty bites from restaurants found right along Alberta Ave and enjoy the night’s bespoke lineup of entertainment.

New Mythic Works Series (Saturday and Sunday Afternoon): The New Mythic Works Series is the very first presentation of five mythologically-inspired plays written by local playwrights. Have a break from whatever weather the day sends our way and rest your feet in the Alberta Avenue Community Centre, all while enjoying the mythic and marvellous artistry that Edmonton has to offer.
