Join Northern Lights Folk Club for their presentation of The Woodshed on Saturday, September 21 at Parkview Community League, 9135 146 Street NW. Doors open at 7:15PM, performance begins at 8:00PM.
Acclaimed roots songwriters John Wort Hannam and T Buckley make up The Woodshed, a modern folk duo based in Alberta. The name The Woodshed refers to the beginning of Buckley and Hannam’s collaboration — woodshedding songs together during a residency at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity in 2017. After a captivating performance at the 2023 Canadian Folk Music Awards, Buckley and Hannam finally decided to ratify their collaboration and bring The Woodshed to life. Together they bring a beautiful vocal blend of brotherly harmonies combined with gutsy, sophisticated song writing alongside intricate guitar playing. These two fellows are no strangers to the Northern Lights Folk Club, and we’re thrilled to have them on stage together!

No physical or electronic tickets will be provided. You will need to have your order confirmation ready at the door.
Free street parking is available, as well as limited on-site parking. ETS routes 2 and 904 are within a 5‑minute walk.
