The Canadian Ska Orchestra Featuring Audrey Ochoa and Special Guests

The Canadian Ska Orchestra (CSO) is a dynamic and genre-blending ensemble that fuses traditional ska with a wide array of musical influences, from jazz and reggae, rocksteady to funk and soul.

The CSO brings a refreshing and eclectic twist to the traditional ska sound by blending the big band sound with the infectious rhythms and offbeat energy of ska. Their repertoire includes original compositions as well as reimagined classics from the Skatalites to Dizzy Gillespie, while always maintaining a focus on energy, danceability, and improvisation. The band is led by Edmonton trombonist Audrey Ochoa and Calgary drummer Jon May.
