Edmonton welcomes the iconic Gun Sculpture Installation for a final Alberta exhibition. Experience a powerful symbol of global peace at Edmonton’s Expo Centre, where the renowned The Art of Peacemaking: The Gun Sculpture returns for a final display in Alberta. Created by Edmonton artists Sandra Bromley and Wallis Kendal, this monumental artwork took five years to complete and debuted in January 2000 at the Edmonton Art Gallery (now AGA) before beginning its global journey.

Composed of over 7,000 deactivated weapons from around the world, The Art of Peacemaking: The Gun Sculpture has toured three continents, including notable exhibitions at the Canadian Pavilion at the World Fair in Hanover, Germany, and Seoul, Korea’s Centennial Celebration of the Nobel Peace Prize.

Getting there: LRT and bus to the Colosseum station, Expo parking for a fee, free parking at Borden Park
