Ociciwan: Birchbark and Quillwork Keychains Workshop

@ Ociciwan Contemporary Art Centre // 1:00 pm

Alberta Craft is proud to support free Indigenous Craft workshops this summer in partnership with Ociciwan Contemporary Art Centre featuring our talented artists from our 2023 exhibition of emerging artists from Portage College Native Arts and Culture program. The workshops will be free to Indigenous community members so that the artists can pass on traditional skills and share their creative journeys and experiences.

Join Ociciwan Saturday, July 20th from 1 – 3PM for Birch Bark and Quill work key chains with Tanya Mustus. Tanya will be sharing how to make key chains with Birch Bark and Porcupine Quills.

This workshop is free. Spots are limited; please reserve your spot through this google form. One form per youth. This workshop is for youth (12+) only. Adults are allowed to accompany their youth, but materials are reserved for youth.
