The response to the summer series was such a success we have decided to, once again, continue our celebration of local artists, live music, and Café Bicyclette’s unique culinary offerings UNTIL December 5! The concerts will be presented in the Great Hall of La Cité francophone or in CAFÉ bicyclette for an intimate concert experience.

All concerts will begin at 7 pm. General Seating access at 6 pm. Tickets are $ 15/ person and are available on Eventbrite.

September 5 
Bub et Pit – Robert Walsh et Pierre Sabourin at CAFÉ bicyclette – limited seating

Two of Canada’s leading French-Canadian singer-songwriters and multi-instrumentalists and have been writing songs and performing together for many years. Join them in this intimate and heartfelt concert.

MelAfrique — Afro-fusion – inspiring the world through music in the Great Ha

Melafrique was formed in Edmonton in 2016, and the band includes members from Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, Angola, Jamaica, and Canada.

Juno-nominated guitarist Jim has worked with a veritable who’s who of Jazz Artists and has performed in clubs, concerts, and festivals across Canada, as well as Europe, China, Mexico, and the USA

Mireille Moquin – singer/​songwriter, actor, director at CAFÉ bicyclette – limited seating

A fifth generation Franco-Albertan, Mireille Moquin is known as a singer, songwriter and actress in the Western Canadian Francophone community.

November 7 Jimmy Guiboche & Pete Turland Band – High energy, guitar driven blues, country and rock n roll! Banquet Halls

Jimmy and Pete have had a friendship dating back to the mid-nineties and are steeped in the blues, country, rockabilly and good old rock and roll, guaranteed to keep the dance floor packed all night long!

November 21 Tina Hartt – from French song to Jazz at CAFÉ bicyclette — limited seating 
Montréal born Tina sings with a sensuality that mirrors emotions we can no longer express verbally. Her repertoire revives jazz songs from a by gone era and she dip generously into all types of French chanson – pourquoi pas!!

December 5 Bok Brass – Christmas at La Cité francophone in the Great Hall
Bok Brass is Edmonton’s brightest and most lavish brass quintet. With over 120 years of combined professional experience, they are masters of their instruments and always very entertaining!
