- 1:30 — 2:15 pm: D’Orjay The Singing Shaman
- 3 — 4 pm: The Don Berner Big Band
Make the most of your day in the Arts District! There will be so much happening in the area including:
- The Art Gallery of Alberta is honouring the importance of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation Day on September 29 with admission by donation (or pay-what-you-may) and activities including a beading circle with Alaynee Goodwill-Littlechild from 12 pm — 4 pm and a screening of Conor McNally’s 2024 film, nanekawâsis.
- Enjoy a FREE visit to the Royal Alberta Museum from September 28 ‑29! Pre-booked tickets and walk-ups are welcome.
- Check out the new Edmonton sign in Churchill Square designed by Vignettes Showcase in collaboration with Métis and Cree artist Michelle Sound and Nehiway/Dene/Métis artist Crystal Clark. This innovative installation was inspired by the concept of what home means to everyone who occupies our shared land.
Churchill Square and the Arts District venues are easily accessible via public transportation. Visit takeETS.com for route and schedule information.
